Suehiro Maruo is Japan's prince of "ero-guru" - erotic grotesque manga. His imagery is unsettling at first and rapidly becomes well, offensive. Cute circus attired heroines, insects, eyeballs, haunting protagonists with shaded faces, moths, dripping faces, tentacles, vomit, cracks, blood....all lend themselves graciously to Maruo's canvas and reemerge in grim playgrounds for evil.
